Greetings friends and fans of the fiber arts!

I’m thrilled to be teaching textile arts (knitting and crochet) at the School of the Arts at 92nd Street Y beginning this autumn, 2016. Courses begin September 20th.

6-week courses, Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm
KNITTING for BEGINNERS, starting September 20th
Knitting provides a world of fabric-making options. Learn the basics of this time-honored tradition:  how to get the stitches onto and off of the needles, and what happens in between. Quickly gain the skills to make scarves, hats, blankets and bags.

CROCHET for BEGINNERS, starting November 15th
Crochet creates fabrics with infinite varieties of patterns and textures. Learn the basics of this flexible and creative technique:  foundation chain, single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch. Quickly gain the skills to make scales, hats, blankets, and bags.
