Concert at the Norwegian Seaman’s Church Christmas Fair (Julemarked)

Greetings Friends and Fans of Fiber and Fantastic Music!

Join us at the Norwegian Holiday Market this weekend (Thurs-Sat). I’m happy to be one of the holiday music-makers singing on the FRIDAY EVENING CONCERT. 6pm. Be there. I’m thinking it wouldn’t be out of place to BE THERE with BELLS ON.

Hours and program: Thursday: 1pm - 8pm Official opening 1.pm Friday: 12am - 7pm Christmas Fair Concert 6pm Saturday: 12am - 6pm On Thursday, November 19th, at 1.pm, the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Midtown Manhattan will open its annual Christmas Fair. The fair is a tradition going back more than a hundred years, and will feature everything from traditional Norwegian foodstuffs and delicacies to books, music, clothes, designer jewellery and decorative items. The fair will also feature freshly made traditional Norwegian food and Christmas treats – traditional salmon and shrimp sandwiches, gløgg, rice pudding, waffles and much, much more. The Church has enlisted the support of the world’s finest knitters: Norwegian grandmothers. An abundance of mittens, socks, sweaters and scarves featuring traditional patterns will thus be available for purchase. There will be a Children’s Program on Saturday 21st.
