photos from American Folk Art Museum, broomstick lace crochet, 19july2012

August 7, 2012

Photos from the July 19th MAKE IT THURSDAY event at American Folk Art Museum. A couple of “Mary Tyler Moore” twirls at the front door, some swatches of broomstick loveliness (I enjoy the phenomenon in fabric-making classes that people tend to use yarn that matches their clothing, and sometimes even their manicure), “Life: real and imagined“, handouts ahoy! (multiple styles of learning = multiple formats of info), some nebulous gesturing (probably describing drape), giant stitches courtesy of the overhead projection, stitchers who could be hand models, an angel watching over us, a broomstick beard… WHAT’s NOT TO LIKE?   Keep abreast of future such events at Lisa Daehlin, Artist.
