Lion Brand Yarn Studio classes Hairpin Lace and Broomstick Lace Crochet - January 2010 - taught by Lisa DaehlinThe technique of Tunisian Crochet is a hybrid of crochet and knitting, resulting in a fabric with a woven quality.  Learn the skills to create rectangular and circular pieces, practice various Tunisian Crochet stitches (knit/purl/netting/lace) and experiment with different ways of incorporating color (intarsia/striping) to make this lovely fabric. 3 hour class, Sunday, January 16th, 2-5pm, 212-243-9070

Create graphic images in your fabric using the single crochet stitch and working with two or more colors at the same time.  Techniques covered include using a formula of increases to make a flat circle which you can use to design your own personal mandala or alter the shape to create a vessel, hat or purse. 3 hour class, Sunday, January 23rd, 2-5pm, 212-243-9070

    These patterns are FAB. I just love hats, warmers to wear over boots, etc. Love those accessories. What great designs, Lisa. You are da bomb.
